Afterglow of Club Glow

Seniors are still in the afterglow of club glow. Time is running out for seniors and as of February 7, they only had  100 days left before graduation.

To celebrate Stonehill put on a 100 days party located in Commons A at the dining hall. The theme of the party was club glow and the students were encouraged to wear black light reactive clothing. The 100-day party lasted from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m. and most of those who attended were on a theme, most girls were wearing neon dresses and the common outfit for the boys being Hawaiian shirts with khakis. Overall the event seemed like a hit. Dan Snow 25’ said “ I had a lot of fun. I got to see a lot of people I haven’t seen in a while.” Pat Galusha 25’ said “It was a good time, I’m glad I went.” Ashley Ollis 25’ said “I had such a fun time and I loved the photo booth.”

The party had a free self service coat check located over at commons B for party goers to store their coats during the party. Next to the coat check students could buy a drink ticket for $5 a piece. Inside the party there was a makeshift bar where one could order simple mixed drinks like vodka with cranberry juice or a rum and coke.

Ashley Ollis said “I had such a fun time and I loved the photo booth.”

There was also a free photobooth for students to use where they could take as many group photos as they wanted completely for free. The photos after they were taken were made available via a website that would be texted to the phone number that was given.

A majority of the party for most seemed like a reunion of sorts for people to see those friends that they made the first week of freshman year and then never talked to again.

Since the party was located at the commons a majority of students also ordered the hill for when they wanted to leave the dance or so that they could have a quick bite during the dance which was quite convenient.
